AAZK National Conference-Professional Member Grant

About this program

The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) offers the National Conference–Professional Member Grant to help cover travel, registration, and lodging expenses for attendance at a National AAZK Conference, with up to $1,500 available per request. Professional AAZK members in good standing may apply, but AAZK Persons of Merit—including board members, committee chairs/vice chairs, and program managers/vice managers—are ineligible. Applications are due March 1 and must include the application form, two support letters (including one from a supervisor), a complete curriculum vitae, and required applicant and facility director signatures. Funding is paid upon proof of conference registration/acceptance and must be repaid if attendance is canceled.
