ABS Latin American Travel Funds — Support for Latin American Conferences

About this program

The Animal Behavior Society offers limited funds to help cover costs of conferences held in Latin America and organized by Latin Americans, with priority for meetings focused on animal behavior or closely related fields. Typically one or two awards are made each year; awards may include restrictions on spending and recipients may be asked to present ABS‑provided slides promoting society membership and programs, and funding applies to conferences held before June 14 of the subsequent year. Eligible applicants are conference organizers based in Latin America; conferences must be organized by Latin Americans and held in Latin America. Applicants must complete an online application, which is reviewed by the ABS Latin American Affairs Committee and the ABS Executive Committee.
