ACS National Meeting Symposia Funding Requests

About this program

The ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry (DIC) invites proposals for symposia to be included in inorganic programming at future ACS National Meetings, providing up to $1,500 per half-day session to help cover speaker registration and travel costs. Proposals must be submitted by February 15 or July 31 and at least one year before the proposed meeting. Eligible symposia must include at least three half-day sessions, support contributed talks—including 30% from trainees outside the organizers’ laboratories—and include an accompanying poster session; 33% of funding must support contributed presenters. Symposia honoring specific individuals are not eligible for DIC financial support.
