ACS PrepareCTP Seed Grant

About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the PrepareCTP Seed Grant to support community colleges and two-year institutions in building partnerships and preparing skilled technical workers (CTPs) for the chemical enterprise. Funding of up to $20,000 for one year can be used for student stipends, faculty workload release, instrumentation purchases, and other activities fostering CTP recruitment and employer partnerships. Eligible applicants include U.S.-based community college students and faculty within chemical-sciences related programs, with students required to not have obtained a bachelor's degree. The grant aligns with ACS's initiative to foster a diverse skilled technical workforce in the chemical industry.
