About this program
The American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) is offering the Affiliate Advocacy Grant to AAFCS state-level Affiliates to support state-focused advocacy for Family and Consumer Sciences using messaging developed with AAFCS members, communities, and committees; application materials for the July–December 2026 cycle are available and the funding amount is not specified. AAFCS will provide advocacy materials online, manage federal outreach, and may invite Affiliates to participate in virtual and Washington, DC-area meetings. Eligible applicants are AAFCS Affiliates that agree to concentrate on state-level advocacy and to report their advocacy activities to AAFCS on a monthly basis.
