About this program
The Texas Water Development Board offers up to $1.5 million through the Agricultural Water Conservation Grants Program for projects that improve irrigation efficiency, strengthen resilience to weather extremes and climate variability, and advance agricultural innovation. Funded projects must support water conservation strategies identified in state and regional water plans and serve the public interest. Eligible applicants are state agencies and political subdivisions; applications are due March 17, 2027.
