AI for Humanity Award

About this program

The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), with financial support from Squirrel AI Learning, presents the annual AI for Humanity Award to recognize AI work that protects, enhances, or improves human life with long‑lived positive effects; the prize includes $25,000 and travel to the AAAI conference. Nominees may be individuals, teams, or organizations and may be nominated for a single application or a broader body of work. Nominations must document compelling evidence of contributions and impact (unpublished results may be considered only with strong supporting evidence), there is no limit on team size, and projects with limited current impact are likely premature; consult the Call for Nominations for full submission and endorser requirements.
