AIA Restoration Grants

About this program

The Association for Industrial Archaeology offers Restoration Grants of up to £30,000 to support capital works restoring industrial heritage buildings, structures, machinery, vehicles, vessels, and related sites. Major-project grants may provide up to £30,000 and should represent at least 20% of total project costs; small-project grants provide up to £10,000 for projects costing no more than £12,500, excluding volunteer labour. Applicants should demonstrate significant restoration impact, appropriate volunteer involvement, and a clearly defined project aligned with industrial heritage preservation.
