About this program
The European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) awards the Alex Mowat Prize—EUR 2,500—to the best hepatology paper or presentation at the ESPGHAN Annual Meeting. Eligible applicants are presenters of abstracts at the Annual Meeting; both ESPGHAN Members and Non‑Members may compete. The Scientific Committee selects the 15 highest‑scored abstracts for presentation, after which the relevant Committees review them during the meeting and report their top choice to Council based on clinical/scientific contribution, methods, results, conclusions and presentation; winners receive a certificate and are announced at the Closing Ceremony.
