About this program
The Electrochemical Society (ECS) offers the Allen J. Bard Award in Electrochemical Science to recognize paradigm-shifting contributions and exceptionally creative experimental or theoretical work in electrochemical science, particularly electroanalytical chemistry or electrocatalysis. The award includes a USD $7,500 honorarium, plaque, complimentary meeting registration, ECS Life Membership, and recognition at the designated spring meeting in odd-numbered years. Nominees need not be ECS members but must demonstrate distinguished contributions in the field; nominations are accepted March 15–June 15 in even-numbered years. A complete nomination includes an electronic form and two to five one-page letters of support, with a CV, publication list, and other supporting materials optional.
