Sponsored by the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) through the AOCS Surfactants and Detergents Division, this award recognizes an outstanding paper on surfactants and detergents published in the Journal of Surfactants and Detergents. The main author receives a plaque, contributing authors receive certificates, and the recipients receive recognition and complimentary meal tickets at the AOCS Annual Meeting. All eligible papers published during the calendar year preceding the meeting are automatically considered, except papers with authors who received the award within the previous three years; AOCS membership is not required.
