AMMA Research Grants

About this program

The Australasian Military Medicine Association (AMMA) offers one $10,000 and one $20,000 annual research grant to support AMMA Members undertaking research in military medicine or veterans’ health leading to publication. Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens/permanent residents, or foreign researchers holding a work visa extending at least 12 months beyond the grant period. Proposals should demonstrate research quality, innovation, significance, and applicant capability, and include an 800-word synopsis, submission statement, budget, publication history, and ethics approval where required. Grant recipients must submit their work to the Journal of Military and Veterans’ Health, acknowledge AMMA funding, report on the project, and declare all related funding sources.
