About this program
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) presents this annual award to recognize pioneering, lifetime, or special achievements that have advanced molecular diagnostics and molecular medicine. The recipient is honored at the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo with a special lecture, honorarium, and commemorative gift. Nominees may be professionals in molecular biology, molecular pathology, pathology, genetics, microbiology, or basic medical sciences whose seminal research or intellectual contributions have significantly influenced clinical molecular diagnostics and patient care. AMP membership is not required, self-nominations are accepted, and nominations are due April 10 for each award cycle.
