Anne Burns Action Research Grant

About this program

Established by Professor Anne Burns and English Australia in 2019, the Anne Burns Action Research Grant awards AUD$1500 to ELICOS institutions or teachers who have demonstrated sustained integration of action research into their curriculum or professional development practices. Applicants must submit a written nomination (no more than 250 words per criterion) providing evidence of action research integration, documented impact on their institution or students, and commitment to continuing this work. Eligible applicants include ELICOS institutions aligned with the English Australia Action Research Program or those with established action research initiatives, as well as individual teachers or teacher groups with demonstrated sustained action research practices. Winners receive AUD$1500, a certificate, website profiling, and permission to use the award winner logo.
