Annual Conference Travel Scholarship

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations’ International Section offers an approximately $500 travel scholarship, contingent on available funds, to support presenting original research on international family issues at the NCFR Annual Conference. Applicants must be international students, new professionals, or faculty/researchers who traveled from outside the United States or Canada or currently reside internationally, and must attend the International Section business meeting. Preference is given to applicants presenting a paper and those from World Bank lending-eligible countries; NCFR membership is not required. Applications are due May 22 and must include professional and paper details, coauthor information, travel origin, attendance likelihood, and a brief financial-need statement.
