Annual Marion J. Siegman Lectureship Award

The American Physiological Society offers the annual Marion J. Siegman Lectureship to an early-career or established researcher who has made outstanding contributions to the understanding of muscle contraction and motility, providing a $1,000 honorarium and reimbursement of expenses up to $2,000. The awardee is invited to deliver a 45-minute lecture at the American Physiology Summit and is expected to publish a research or review article on the lecture in an APS journal; recipients are selected by a committee. Nominations only (self-nominations not permitted); nominators must submit a nomination letter, the nominee’s NIH biosketch or full CV, and up to 10 key publications with descriptions via the online submission system, and the nominee must attend the Summit.
