Australian Plants Society - North Shore Group administers the Annual Noel Rosten Encouragement Award, an endowed accolade established in 1994 and renamed in 2019 to honor Noel Rosten, presented to a new Group member who has demonstrated outstanding willingness to participate in Group activities. The award is primarily commemorative and its history and past recipients are recorded (1994–2024, most recently Mark Blanche).
