APLA First Timer’s Conference Grant

About this program

APLA offers the First Timer’s Conference Grant to help Atlantic Canada residents who are personal APLA members attend their first APLA annual conference by defraying conference-related expenses (travel, accommodation, meals, registration). Applicants must be personal members of APLA, reside in Atlantic Canada, and be planning to attend their first APLA annual conference. Grant amounts vary with available funds and, if applications exceed funds, recipients are selected by random draw. Applications are due March 31 each year and must include name, business address, preferred contact information, estimated conference costs and a dated signature; recipients are required to submit a short report for the Executive and the APLA Bulletin; submit to president-elect@apla.ca.
