APLA Merit Award

About this program

The Atlantic Provinces Library Association (APLA) awards the annual APLA Merit Award at the Banquet of its Annual Conference to honor an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to library services in the Atlantic Provinces. Recognized contributions include leadership in library associations at local, regional or provincial levels; development, application or utilization of library services and systems; and significant contributions to library literature. Nominations, including documentation of the nominee’s achievements and letters of support, must be submitted by March 31 each year.
