The American Political Science Association (APSA) offers the Diversity and Inclusion Advancing Research Grant — Early-Career Scholars to support research advancement and professional development of early-career political scientists investigating phenomena affecting underserved communities and underrepresented groups. Target topics include race, ethnicity and politics; racial and social justice; systemic racism, inequality and inequity; gender, sexuality and politics; LGBTQ+ politics; and accessibility, and projects may use qualitative, quantitative, interpretive, mixed-methods, political philosophy, or theoretical approaches. Applicants must be early-career political science scholars; participation is open to all regardless of legally protected characteristics, and collaboratively authored projects are welcome.
