Arthur Beaumont Distinguished Service Award

Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society (CAIMS/SCMAI) awards the Arthur Beaumont Distinguished Service Award to recognize members for sustained, meaningful service to the society or to applied mathematics in Canada; the recipient receives a commemorative plaque presented at the CAIMS Annual Meeting and a travel allowance. The award normally recognizes service including the seven years prior to the award date. Eligible nominees must be CAIMS members; nominations require a letter outlining the candidate’s contributions signed by at least two CAIMS members (on the letterhead of one signer) and the nominee’s curriculum vitae. Submit nominations via the CAIMS Open Nominations page; the selection committee may defer eligible applications to the following year.
