About this program
The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), with support from David’s Fund, offers the annual $20,000 Arthur Flagler Fultz Research Award to encourage and support research advancing evidence-informed music therapy practice. Applicants must complete the designated electronic application in Word format, provide all required information, and maintain anonymity in the proposal’s review section. Applications must be emailed to fultz@musictherapy.org by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on May 31, 2026; applicants must receive AMTA confirmation of receipt for the submission to be considered complete.
