ASA Mentoring Award

About this program

The American Statistical Association offers the ASA Mentoring Award annually to recognize a member who has demonstrated sustained, exceptional leadership in developing the careers of statistics students, statisticians, or early-career statistical researchers. The recipient receives a $1,500 award. Nominees must be ASA members with a long record of outstanding mentorship, and nominations are due March 1. Applications require a nomination letter of no more than two pages, with optional supporting letters of up to two pages each and the candidate’s headshot.
