ASECS Arts, Theater, and Music (ATM) Fund

About this program

ASECS (American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies) offers the Arts, Theater, and Music (ATM) Fund to support visual and performing arts programs organized in conjunction with the ASECS Annual Meeting, providing grants of up to $5,000 (the Program Committee may award multiple or partial grants for a combined total of $5,000). ASECS members may apply to the Program Committee; applications (sent to asecsoffice@gmail.com) are due October 1 and must include a descriptive letter explaining how the event will enrich the Annual Meeting, scheduling and logistical needs, and a budget. Eligible uses include equipment or venue rental, supplies, transportation or shipping, and artist fees, but funds may not be used for honoraria paid to ASECS members. ATM-funded events must be open to all Annual Meeting registrants, offsite events must be accessible, events must occur no earlier than the afternoon before and no later than the afternoon after the Meeting, and preference is given to disciplines or cultures not recently supported by ATM grants.
