ASHS Outstanding Researcher Award

About this program

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) offers the Outstanding Researcher Award to recognize a horticultural crops scientist with at least 10 years of distinguished research contributions in horticultural science; the award includes a plaque but no monetary stipend. Nominees must be active ASHS members, actively engaged in research, extension, or teaching, and must not be previous recipients. Nominations, due February 4, must include a curriculum vitae, a 400-word biographical summary, a 500-word nomination letter, and three to five support letters, including at least one from another institution; nominators must also be active ASHS members.
