American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) San Diego Chapter is offering a single $5,000 Tracy Morgan Hollingworth Community Grant (2026) to San Diego County non-profit community groups for projects that educate the public about landscape architecture and provide tangible community or environmental benefits (e.g., landscape improvements, habitat restoration, water-efficient conversions, trail work, feasibility studies). Eligible applicants must be IRS-recognized non-profits headquartered in San Diego County with a minimum of three years continuous existence and must submit an application form, project summary, community/elected official recommendation letter(s), and proof of non-profit status. Funds are paid on a reimbursement basis over one year after a signed grant agreement; recipients must submit qualifying receipts, quarterly reimbursement claims and project updates, and understand incidental/ongoing expenses (volunteer food, staff salaries, permits, etc.) are ineligible. Finalists are screened by the Community Grant Committee and the Chapter Executive Board selects the recipient by majority vote.
