ASME FutureME Programs Grant

About this program

ASME’s ECE Programming Committee and the ASME Old Guard offer FutureME Program Grants to fund workshops and programs that help early-career engineers (0–10 years post-undergraduate) transition to professional life, providing up to $1,500 per approved program and an optional additional $500 for reusable video or written content (video requires a talent-release). Programs should focus on problem-based learning, practical skill development, interaction with subject-matter experts and industry leaders, and pathways for ASME engagement. Any ASME unit or collaboration may apply via the GPS Requisition Tool with the SECD-ASME FutureME Programs Grant Application attached; submissions are accepted on a rolling basis as funds allow and should be filed at least three months before the event (six months recommended), with notification typically within 4–6 weeks. Grant recipients must prominently acknowledge the ASME Old Guard and ECE Programming Committee and submit a results report and survey (Word or PDF) within 15 days after the activity.
