ASMS Research Awards

About this program

The American Society for Mass Spectrometry offers annual Research Awards to support the research of early-career academic scientists, with three $35,000 awards funded by Bruker, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Waters Corporation. Funds are awarded to the recipient’s university for the researcher’s exclusive use, without institutional overhead charges. Applicants must be ASMS members serving within the first four years of their initial tenure-track or equivalent faculty appointment at a North American university, must have attended the ASMS annual conference in at least two of the past five years, and may not have previously received the award. Applications, including a three-page research proposal, CV, current support information, and two letters of recommendation, are due November 30.
