Award for Excellence in Integrated Pest Management

About this program

Entomological Society of America offers the Award for Excellence in Integrated Pest Management to honor an individual who has made outstanding contributions directly related to IPM; the recipient receives an inscribed plaque and a monetary amount based on endowment interest and is presented the award at the ESA Annual Meeting. Only ESA Branches may submit one nomination per Branch per year, nominees must be ESA members, previous recipients and holders of widely recognized scientific awards are generally ineligible unless the nomination documents new work, and candidates may be renominated up to two times within two years. Nominations must be uploaded via the ESA awards site as individual PDF/TIF/JPG files, comply with a 20‑page total limit and minimum 10‑point font, and include an ESA‑template CV, a letter of nomination, up to three letters of recommendation, a one‑page summary of IPM work, and three relevant reprints; contact awards@entsoc.org for questions.
