Award of Merit

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers its Award of Merit, the association’s highest honor, to recognize sustained, lifetime contributions to information science and related professions; the award includes a Revere Bowl and citation presented at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting. Nominees must demonstrate impact on theory and practice, leadership, education and mentoring, and sustained involvement in the field. Nominees and nominators must be current ASIS&T members in good standing, and nominees may not be prior recipients or current members of the Awards & Honors Committee or Board of Directors. Nominations are due April 1 (or the adjacent weekday) and must include a nomination statement, CV, nomination letter, and up to three supporting letters, submitted through the online portal.
