About this program
The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Student Chapter Awards recognize outstanding achievements by AWM student chapters, with awards presented annually at MAA MathFest in up to four categories: community outreach, fundraising and sustainability, professional development, and scientific excellence. Any active AWM student chapter may self-nominate by completing the annual chapter survey between April 1 and May 15. Applications should include detailed descriptions of relevant activities and initiatives, with responses limited to 5,000 characters per nomination.
