AWWA Award of Merit

About this program

American Water Works Association’s Award of Merit recognizes individuals, groups, or organizations outside the water profession who have provided outstanding service in support of AWWA’s principles; the non‑monetary award is an engraved sculpture. Eligible nominees must not be employed in the water profession and should have made a notable contribution to the water sector; nominations are submitted via an entry form with contact information and a summary of contributions. Nominations may remain under consideration for up to three years and are reviewed by the AWWA Award of Merit Committee (recent Past Presidents) with final approval by the Board; a submission deadline is listed as November 1.
