AWWA Honorary Member Award

About this program

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) annually awards the Honorary Member Award to individuals whose knowledge and accomplishments in the field of water supply merit special recognition, conferring Honorary Membership (full Active Member rights and dues exemption) and a commemorative sculpture with an inscribed nameplate. Any AWWA member or section may nominate a candidate using the required form with full name, address and complete biographical information by November 1; nominees may remain under consideration for up to three years and may be re‑nominated thereafter. A selection committee of the five most recent Past Presidents reviews nominations and reports recommendations to the Board, and up to three Honorary Members may be elected each year with presentation at the AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition.
