BABAO Rapid-Turnaround Microgrant (Rapid-Turnaround Grant)

About this program

Offered by the British Association for Biological Anthropology and Osteoarchaeology (BABAO), the Rapid-Turnaround Microgrant provides one-off awards of up to £250 to support members’ education, research and professional practice on an open-ended, monthly-reviewed basis. Eligible costs include bench fees, travel, workshop registration, lab/field equipment and academic proofreading; specialist analytical services and laboratory consumables are excluded and textbook purchases are unlikely to be funded without strong justification. Applicants must be current BABAO members (or may include one year of BABAO membership in their request if not yet a member), with applications particularly encouraged from under-represented groups; awarded funds must benefit and belong to the applicant.
