The Baldwin Hills & Urban Watersheds Conservancy offers ongoing Consolidated Grant Program funding for planning, implementation, acquisition, and stewardship projects that advance conservation, climate resilience, equitable park and recreation access, and benefits to disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. Eligible applicants include public agencies, state and federal entities, federally or California-recognized Tribal governments, and 501(c)(3) nonprofit or fiscally sponsored community organizations within the Conservancy’s service area. Projects generally require a 25% match, which may include cash, in-kind services, staff time, donated materials or land, or other eligible non-state funds; grants are typically implemented over two years and provided on a reimbursement basis.
