Battery Division Early Career Award

The Electrochemical Society’s Battery Division Early Career Award recognizes and supports emerging leaders whose recent research has made significant contributions to battery or fuel cell science and technology. The annual award includes a framed certificate, $2,000, complimentary registration, and up to $2,000 in travel expenses to attend the ECS fall meeting, where it is presented. Candidates must have completed their PhD within 10 years of the nomination deadline, be current ECS and ECS Battery Division members, and demonstrate exceptional research excellence and promise in leadership, outreach, advocacy, or teaching. Nominees must be lead or major contributors to high-impact publications, including at least one paper published in an ECS journal; nominations are accepted October 15 through January 15 annually.
