About this program
The Electrochemical Society (ECS) Battery Division offers the M. Stanley Whittingham Mid-Career Award to recognize significant scientific or technological contributions to electrochemical energy storage and related fields. The annual award includes a framed certificate, $3,000, and an invited lecture at the ECS spring meeting. Nominees must be ECS members and have earned their final degree 10–25 years before the nomination deadline. Nominations are accepted annually from March 15 through June 15 and must include a nomination form, letter, CV, and three letters of support.
