Battery Division Research Award

About this program

The Electrochemical Society’s Battery Division Research Award recognizes recent, high-impact advances in battery and fuel cell science and encourages publication in ECS journals, particularly among younger electrochemists. The annual award includes a $2,000 prize, framed certificate, ongoing ECS Battery Division membership, and possible travel support to the ECS fall meeting. Nominees must be current ECS members and authors or coauthors of papers reporting significant new knowledge, including at least one paper published in an ECS publication; eligible papers may have appeared up to 10 years before May 1 of the award year. Nominations, including a CV, publication list, nomination form, and up to three support letters, are accepted annually from October 15 through January 15.
