BCLA Industry Award

About this program

The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) Industry Award recognises an individual or team working within industry who has made an outstanding entrepreneurial contribution to the contact lens or anterior eye field through a product, technology, or concept, honoured at the BCLA Clinical Conference & Exhibition. Eligible contributions include development or application of new products, concepts, or technologies that significantly advanced the industry, novel uses of existing technology, or demonstrable positive impact on the health and comfort of global contact lens wearers and dry eye patients or on eyecare practice. Nominations may be submitted only by BCLA sponsoring and exhibiting companies; the winner is selected by the BCLA Council. The award is non-monetary (recognition only); next presentation is in 2027 with nominations opening in 2026.
