About this program
The Child Neurology Society offers the Bernard Sachs Award to recognize an internationally distinguished researcher whose neuroscience contributions advance the care of children with neurological disorders. The annual award includes recognition and a scientific lecture at the CNS Annual Meeting; nominations for the 2027 award are due October 31, with the recipient notified by January 15, 2027. Nominees must be outstanding teachers and scholars of international stature, and CNS membership is not required. Nominations are submitted electronically with the candidate’s contact information and rationale; letters of recommendation and CVs are not required initially.
