Best Abstract by a Student or New Professional Award

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations’ Research and Theory Section offers the Best Abstract by a Student or New Professional Award to recognize outstanding scholarly work submitted for the NCFR Annual Conference. The selected recipient receives a $200 cash award and plaque, presented at the Research and Theory Annual Meeting. Applicants must be current NCFR and Research and Theory Section members, be students or within five years of their last degree, and serve as first author on the submitted abstract. The abstract must designate the Research and Theory Section as the first section choice; submissions are due May 22.
