About this program
The International Coral Reef Society presents its annual Best Paper Award for the most outstanding scientific paper published in the journal Coral Reefs during the calendar year. One winning paper receives a certificate, glass trophy, and €1,000 cash prize from Springer. Authors are selected by vote of the journal’s editorial board, with no stated experience, ICRS membership, or service requirements. The award has a March 15 application deadline, although nominations are determined by the editorial board.
