About this program

The University of Connecticut Library’s Archives & Special Collections offers the Billie M. Levy Fellowship, providing competitive $4,000 travel and research grants for projects using the Northeast Children’s Literature Collection. Scholars, researchers, and artists at any career stage are eligible, with preference given to proposals demonstrating strong project significance and the necessity of consulting the collection. Applicants must submit a project description of no more than two pages, a preliminary list of collections, and a CV or résumé by January 30. Awardees must complete at least five full days of in-residence research and share their findings through a blog post, podcast interview, or staff colloquium.
