Bob Riffenburgh Award

About this program

The American Statistical Association’s Bob Riffenburgh Award recognizes the transfer or extension of statistical methods from one field of application to another, particularly innovative applications in medicine. Presented biennially, the award includes a $4,000 cash prize, which is divided among recipients if multiple candidates are selected. Nominees should demonstrate significant, innovative cross-disciplinary use of statistical methods; nominations are due March 1 of even-numbered years and must include a nomination letter, the candidate’s CV, and two letters of support of no more than two pages each.
