British Society of Aesthetics Small Grants

About this program

The British Society of Aesthetics offers several small grants annually of up to £4,000 to support activities in aesthetics and the philosophy of art—commonly funding conferences, workshops, lecture series, podcasts, and videos—provided events are held in the UK or Europe. Applicants must be current, paid-up BSA members and proposals must include a substantive philosophical component. Applications must conform to the Society’s Guidelines and be submitted via the online form by 1 April or 1 October (decisions mid‑May and mid‑November); non‑conforming applications will be rejected.
