Bronislaw Malinowski Award

About this program

The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) presents the annual Bronislaw Malinowski Award to an outstanding individual or professional collaborators whose careers apply social science to address global societal challenges. The recipient delivers a special lecture at the SfAA Annual Meeting, which may be submitted for publication in Human Organization. Nominees should be senior, widely recognized academics or practitioners whose work has lasting impact; nominations of professionals outside the United States are encouraged. Submissions are due December 15 and must include a nomination letter, complete CV, up to three support letters, and up to five work samples; nominations remain active for five years.
