Bronislaw Malinowski Award

About this program

The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) presents the annual Bronislaw Malinowski Award to an outstanding individual, or professional collaborators, whose career applies social science to understanding and addressing global societal challenges. The recipient delivers a special lecture at SfAA’s Annual Meeting, which may be submitted for publication in Human Organization. Nominees should be senior, widely recognized academics or practitioners whose work has had lasting impact; international nominees are encouraged. Nominations are due December 15 and must include a detailed nomination letter, complete CV, up to three support letters, and up to five work samples; materials remain valid for five years.
