BSG International Committee Grants Awards

About this program

The British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) International Committee Grants support international projects led by BSG members that advance sustainable partnerships and improvements in leadership, service delivery, or education for gastrointestinal and liver disease care globally, with particular emphasis on low-resource settings. Applicants must be current BSG members with at least one team member in UK practice, demonstrate local engagement with their institution, present clearly defined SMART aims aligned with BSG International standards, and provide detailed financial breakdowns. Funding is limited to a maximum of £10,000 per award (up to 5 awards per round) and cannot support general equipment purchases, though reasonable travel and accommodation costs are eligible. Successful projects must be completed within 12 months and require submission of a final report, with awardees invited to present findings at the BSG Annual Conference.
