BSPP Senior Fellowships

About this program

The British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP) offers Senior Fellowships to support working visits of one to three months (or part-fund longer visits) to stimulate studies or training benefiting plant pathology, typically covering travel, accommodation, personal costs and contributions to consumables or essential research costs in the host laboratory, with awards generally up to £5,000. Applications are accepted twice yearly (30 April and 31 October) with decisions communicated within six weeks and awarded funds required to be used within 12 months. Eligible applicants are established scientists who have been BSPP members for at least two years; members may not receive a Senior Fellowship more than once in any five-year period and may not apply for both the BSPP travel fund and a Senior Fellowship in the same year.
