C. Hart Merriam Award for Outstanding Research in Mammalogy

The American Society of Mammalogists offers the C. Hart Merriam Award to recognize eminent scholars for outstanding research contributions to mammalogy sustained over at least 10 years. The recipient is invited to deliver a plenary presentation at the Society’s annual meeting and prepare a related manuscript for the Journal of Mammalogy. Nominees should be established, actively engaged researchers with significant contributions to mammalogy; nominations are open regardless of citizenship or ASM membership and must include a two-page nomination letter, curriculum vitae, 3–5 support letters, and a statement affirming adherence to the ASM Code of Professional Conduct. Materials must be submitted as a single PDF to the committee chair by March 1.
